Navy lab invents perpetual motion machine - Wrong!

Many press outlets fell for it. Not that there were misled; they jumped and missed. One of them bent the story from an interesting technology into ships powered - magically - by sea water. The Navy didn’t say that.

William Tucher at American  Spectator brings the story back to reality: It takes a lot - a lot - of energy to convert sea water into fuel. The energy sum is a loss. But several news outlets got it wrong.

American Spectator

(Note: A few got it right: Forbes, Washington Times.)
